The Urbanworld Film Festival (UWFF) has been the largest international film festival of it's kind since 1997. It has premiered such films as The Best Man,  Soul Food and The Original Kings of Comedy. We are proud to announce that $FREE.99 written by Candice Sanchez McFarlane and Pete Chatmon has been selected as one of the five finalists for a live reading hosted by HBO. The UWFF will beheld in New York City, September 10-14.

The Tribeca Film Festival held it's annual All Access Program which selects 15 Narrative Projects and 15 Documentaries to compete for awards during the festival.
